Multatuli

Multatuli (1820–1887) was the pen name of Eduard Douwes Dekker, a Dutch writer and civil servant, best known for his novel Max Havelaar, which criticized the Dutch colonial abuses in Indonesia. His work is considered one of the most important pieces of Dutch literature and sparked debates on colonial policy. Birds don't care.
